Mother Jessie McKnight
Mother Jessie McKnight was born on August 19, 1935. She was saved at a very early age, and has been a member of the Church of God by Faith for 58 years. As a youth, she was active in various departments of the Church, including the WWC Department and singing in the choir.

Mother McKnight recently celebrated 59 years of marriage. She was married to Bishop James E. McKnight on December 7, 1953 and to this union four children were born, three sons and one daughter.

Mother McKnight enjoyed teaching her children the ways of the Lord. She also works with Vacation Bible School and teaches cooking and sewing classes to young ladies from various churches. Mother McKnight recently established the Women of Purpose Ministry at Gainesville Church of God by Faith for young girls and single women.

She has also been the Home Mission President at Gainesville for over 38 years. Mother McKnight is the chairperson of the National Pastor's Wives Association and the Pastor's Wives Retreat for the Church of God by Faith, Inc. Mother McKnight's greatest passion is her love for people.

She enjoys helping those in need and has a special gift of working with and for people, as well offering encouragement. She loves her family and even though they are very busy, she prefers to spend time together. But most of all, she loves the Lord. She often testifies of her favor from God because of walking and living right.
